Senior Cryptographic Engineer
Your Role
As one of our few senior developers,
- You are an integral and essential part of the core development team, jointly elaborating and implementing the use cases to build a great software product
- You design and implement capabilities which meet the requirements and interoperate with the components of your peers
- The authentication, quality assurance and access management, as well as data exchange capabilities that you are going to build support trust, privacy and reliability of personal health data in cloud and mobile setting, leveraging decentralized identities
- You self-sufficiently develop, integrate, and test workflows to request, authenticate, transfer or grant access to meta data and/or health records. You record and settle such access via smart sharing contracts and enable trust in data interoperability. You cast this into an intuitive lay user process
- You are the go-to person for any crypto and security question and ensure that any analytics or data aggregations are performed within consented data segments, terms and privacy.
- As an instrumental workflow enabler, you closely collaborate with your peers and in an incremental agile approach
- You ensure robust and documented code and ensure your colleagues can support you, as you will support them to overcome obstacles and deliver on priorities collectively
- Commensurate with your personal competences and experience you can also take on or share additional roles to complete the team and grow your competences and impact
Your Profile
- Qualified software/cryptographic engineer with multi-year distributed ledger experience
- Will to shape and impact sustainably together with the team. Highly collaborative
- Highly knowledgeable on self-sovereign identity (SSI) and cryptographic concepts, distributed ledger and smart contract technology. You can integrate and implement hands-on
- Well versed in data governance, quality, semantics, health data topics and related data transformation including methods of de-identification and privacy preserving analytics and computing
- Experience with health data analytics or integration, health data management and exchange (e.g. electronic health records, diagnostic modalities (image, clinical, device, prescriptions, dispatch reports, PREM/PROM) is a great plus
- Familiar with ReactNative, REST API, key management and tokenized access
- Accustomed with our development tools and common data stack (Visual Studio App Center, Azure DevOps and its components, SQL Server data tools in Visual Studio)
- Fluency in English is a must, German and other European languages are an asset
- Available 80-100%, full time preferred, fixed term or permanent
- Swiss or EU/EFTA residency and work permit
Some of the differentiating skills which enable you to take on larger responsibilities or additional team roles can be:
- Software as a medical device development and/or software in regulated clinical environments/studies or electronic health record systems
- Software architecture linking mobile, backend, cloud and data
- Experience with mobile and backend development, clinical, scientific or diagnostic health data management, as well as device generated data
- Experience in data governance, quality, semantics, health data standards/ontologies and related data transformation (OMOP, DICOM, LOINC, FHIR, IHE)
- Ability to manage stack/pipeline and DevOps (Visual Studio App Center, Azure DevOps Services)
- UX/UI experience in a non-digital native patient setting
- Scrum master
